We do this until it is perfectly done and then send the file in the format that you want.
What are the types of embroidery digitizing your are doing?
When it comes to embroidery digitizing, it is a mass field that consists of various types of digitization such as 3D puff, applique, chenille, cross-stitch, sequin, cording, chain-stitch, colour blending, boring and more. Logo digitizing, intricate floral digitizing, monogram digitizing are also included.
Xcellentplus Embroidery Digitizing service is a complex process that uses different types of stitches such as running stitch, satin stitch, and fills stitch to create an embroidery design. It requires many steps, from starting with simple clip art to a stitched-out design, and there is a particular embroidery digitizing software needed for this process.
What type of file format do you accept?
We have the capability to work with any given format; however, we would recommend that you share the artwork in one of the below-mentioned formats to ensure speedy digitization.
PDF: With this file format, especially if it is a vector file, the given artwork can easily be scaled without losing the quality of the image
JPG: A brilliant file format for images/artworks with many colors, photos, scanned images, etc.
PNG: This one would be an ideal file format for designs with text, a logo where the colors are less, and the background is of solid color
EPS, AI, SVG: These are amazing vector formats, and they are extremely helpful. However, while using this format, you need to keep in mind that it must be outlined if there is any text in the image.
Word Document – Some clients send the file in word document format. Instead of embedding an image to a Word document that may lower its quality, you can just send that image.
TIFF, BMP: These will work, but the file size may be huge. Alternatively, JPG may be a better format to use.
PSD: With a Photoshop file, it can be tricky for digitization as they show up differently on many computers, especially if it contains a font layer. We recommend saving your photoshop files or PSD files to JPG, PDF, or PNG format.
Manual tracing?
Manual tracing of the artwork takes place to ensure that there are no errors left in the digital illustration and vector artwork. Scrutinization takes place easily with the help of adept professionals in our team.
What is a vector file?
A vector file is a computer graphic that uses mathematical formulas to render its image, instead of using pixel data that is used in a raster file. A vector image begins with a point and when two points are joined, they create a path. These paths can be straightened or curved, and then connected with more points to form longer paths or closed shapes. Each path, curve, or shape has its own formula, so they can be sized up or down and the formulas will maintain the crispness and sharp qualities of each path. A vector file has the capability to infinitely adjust in size without losing resolution which makes vector files versatile for certain types of tasks than raster files.
What are the types of vector files you offer?
Some of the most common types of Vector files that Xcellentplus works with are:
Adobe Illustrator or .ai – This type of file is used in print media and digital graphics, such as logos.
Encapsulated PostScript or .eps – It is an older type of vector graphics file. These files do not support transparency in the way more modern file formats like AI do.
Portable Document Format or.pdf – This vector file format is built for the exchange of documents across platforms.
Scalable Vector Graphics format or.svg – This type of file is based in XML (a language used across the Internet, readable by both machines and humans). It is useful for the web where it can be indexed, searched, and scripted.
When to use vector files?
One should use vector files whenever they need graphics displayed in various sizes. Imagine you have a company and you want to get your logo designed. The best format that you can create your logo is in Vector file format. This vector logo will be used on business cards, brochures, flyers, etc. It might also appear on T-shirts, billboards, and tiny mobile device screens. Other common vector files include icons, typography and lettering designs, patterns, and digital illustrations.
Vector files sound a bit complicated, but you do not have to make them yourself! Xcellentplus is an expert in vector art conversion. We provide services starting from logo designing to removing the background of any given image.
What are vector images?
Vector images are described by shapes such as circles and squares, as opposed to bitmap images which are described by pixels – squares of color arranged in a grid. The shapes are precise mathematical descriptions of the image and can be scaled without becoming blurry or “pixelated” (that blocky look that bitmap or raster images so often get when scaled up).
How do you ensure the quality of design?
We are incredibly systemic in our work. We have a 3-stage quality check and assurance (QC and QA) process where we inspect each design individually and ensure that the designs are sharp and clean. If you find any defect, we will correct it and vectorize it again. We correct the image till it achieves perfection, and then it is sent to you in a requested file format.
Can vector images be resized?
Because vector images do not use any pixels, you can resize them infinitely larger or smaller without any loss of quality, and they will still print out just as clearly, with no increase (or decrease) in file size.
