Trim: the operator trims excess fabric close to the tack-down. Pre-cut or laser-cut pieces skip this step.
Cover stitch: a satin border, E-stitch, blanket stitch or bean stitch finishes the raw edge. Detail embroidery then runs on top.

Can appliqué be stitched on caps?
