A vector art studio behind the scenes
XcellentPlus is a vector art studio that works behind the scenes for screen printers, DTF shops, embroidery companies, sign makers and apparel brands. You send the artwork you have. We send back a file your press, cutter or laser can use on the first try.
Built for a real production method
Our vector graphics services cover raster to vector conversion, logo vectorization, vector tracing, color separations and custom vector design. Every file is built for a real production method, not just to look good on a screen.
Why Production Shops Need Real Vector Files
Most customer artwork arrives as a JPG or PNG pulled from a website, an email signature or a phone photo. It looks fine on screen. Then you enlarge it for a full back print or send it to a cutter, and it falls apart.
For production, vector art gives you
Our Vector Graphics Services
From a quick logo conversion to a full custom illustration, every file is drawn manually in Adobe Illustrator or CorelDRAW.
Raster to Vector Conversion
01We convert JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP, TIFF, screenshots and scanned images into true vector artwork. Our artists redraw every shape manually, placing anchor points where they belong so curves stay smooth and corners stay sharp.
The result is a lightweight, fully editable file, not a messy auto-trace with thousands of stray points.
Logo Vectorization and Recreation
02We match your original shapes, proportions and colors, identify or closely match the fonts, and convert all text to outlines so nothing shifts when the file is opened on another computer.
When a logo is too damaged to trace, we recreate it from scratch using the original as a reference.
Vector Tracing and Low-Resolution Cleanup
03We clean up blurred edges, remove backgrounds, straighten lines, rebuild missing details and correct uneven shapes during tracing.
We also fix poorly made vectors from other sources, including open paths, overlapping shapes, broken curves and hidden stray points.
Custom Vector Artwork
04Need something new rather than a conversion? We create custom vector graphics from sketches, rough ideas or reference images: t-shirt designs, mascots, badges, typography layouts, team logos and sponsor artwork.
Everything is delivered as layered, editable vector files.
Vector Artwork Built for Your Print or Cut Method
A file that works for screen printing is not automatically right for a vinyl cutter or a laser. Tell us how the design will be produced and we prepare it for that method.
Screen Printing Vector Artwork and Color Separations
Screen printers need artwork that separates cleanly. We build screen printing vector artwork with:
- Solid spot colors matched to Pantone (PMS) references when you provide them
- Each ink color on its own layer, ready for separations
- Traps and chokes where colors meet, to handle registration on press
- Line weights and small details that will hold on a screen
- Halftones or simulated process separations for gradients and photo-style art, on request
Color separation artwork is also available as a standalone service for existing vector files.

DTF prints full color, but low-quality edges still show up on the transfer as fuzz, halos or gaps. We create DTF vector artwork with crisp edges and deliver both the editable vector master and a print-size PNG at 300 DPI with a transparent background.
We remove semi-transparent edge pixels and stray specks, and we flag fine details that may not hold after powdering and pressing.
See our DTF vector art serviceVinyl Cutting Vector Files
Cutters follow paths, so the paths have to be right. Our vinyl cutting vector files are built with:
- Closed paths and no overlapping shapes, so blades do not double cut
- Strokes converted to filled shapes
- One layer per vinyl color
- Details sized so they can actually be weeded
We supply SVG, DXF, EPS or AI files for Cricut, Silhouette, Roland, Graphtec and other common cutters and sign plotters.
Vector art for vinyl cuttingLaser Engraving Vector Files
For laser engraving and cutting, we separate cut lines from engrave areas and set cut paths as hairline strokes in the color your machine uses. We remove duplicate lines that cause double passes and keep every cut path closed.
Files work with Epilog, Trotec, Glowforge, xTool and similar systems in AI, PDF, SVG or DXF.

Who We Work With
We work mostly business to business, as an outsourced art department. Many clients send us their overflow art every week. Instead of hiring an in-house vector artist, they get a dedicated team that scales with their order volume.
Send Your First FileVector Art Services for California and Texas Businesses
We serve clients across the United States online, and a large share of our vector work goes to production shops in California and Texas. Both states have busy apparel, print and promotional product industries with fast-moving orders.
Vector Art for California Shops
From Los Angeles apparel manufacturers and Orange County streetwear brands to San Diego surf and lifestyle labels and Bay Area companies ordering event and team merch, California shops often handle detailed, multi-color designs and tight retail deadlines. Our vector art services give them clean separations and consistent files without adding staff.
Vector Art for Texas Shops
Print and decoration shops in Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin and San Antonio handle a steady mix of school spirit wear, sports teams, church and community events, industrial uniforms and corporate promo items. Much of that artwork arrives as low-quality logos. We turn it into screen printing vector artwork, DTF files and cut files that are ready to run.
Wherever you are in the USA, the process is the same: upload your file, approve the quote and receive production-ready artwork by email. We plan delivery around US business hours so files are waiting when your shop opens.

Send It With Your Artwork01What is vector conversion?
Vector conversion is the process of redrawing a pixel-based image, such as a JPG or PNG, as a vector graphic made of paths and anchor points. The vector version can be resized to any dimension without losing sharpness, and it can be edited, separated by color or used by cutting machines.
02How much do vector art services cost?
At XcellentPlus, simple logo vectorization costs $12. Standard multi-element logos cost $20 and complex illustrations cost $35. Sponsor or multi-logo layouts start from $45. Full redraws, portraits and large format artwork are quoted individually after a free review.
03How long does vector conversion take?
Simple logos are often ready within a few hours. Most orders are delivered within 24 hours. Rush delivery is available on request.
04Do you use auto-trace software?
No. Auto-trace tools create uneven curves and too many anchor points, which cause problems in printing and cutting. Every file is traced manually in Adobe Illustrator or CorelDRAW.
05What file format do screen printers need?
Most screen printers prefer an AI, EPS or vector PDF file with each spot color on its own layer and all text converted to outlines. We prepare separations to match your ink colors.
06Can any image be converted to vector?
Almost any logo, graphic or drawing can be converted. Photos and highly detailed art can be recreated as vector illustrations, though some fine detail may be simplified. We tell you what to expect before work starts.
07Which file is best for vinyl cutting or laser engraving?
SVG works well for Cricut and Silhouette, while DXF, AI and PDF are common for sign plotters and lasers. We build the paths to suit your specific machine.
08Do you prepare vector files for DTF printing?
Yes. We deliver a clean vector master and a 300 DPI transparent PNG at your print size, with edge pixels and stray specks removed.
09Do you work with businesses outside California and Texas?
Yes. We work with clients in every US state. Everything is handled online, from file upload to final delivery.
10Can you handle regular or bulk vector orders?
Yes. Many print shops, decorators and agencies send us artwork every week. Bulk and ongoing orders are welcome, and we can match your preferred file setup for every job.
